Celebrating the Life of J.D. Mack
J.D. was born in Raymond, Mississippi, on April 7, 1932 to his proud parents, Felix Mack, Sr. and Annie Mack. He attended school in Jackson, Mississippi. He accepted Christ at an early age at the Friendship Baptist Church in Mississippi. On June 13, 1955, he married Nettie Mae Moses. He moved to California in 1960. He worked for Laborers Union Local 185 as a
laborer and business agent for over 45 years. He coached for Lemon Hill Little League.
He was a loving, thoughtful, caring husband and father. He liked to travel to see new places and people.
J.D. departed this life on March 16, 2017.
He was preceded in death by Felix Mack, Sr., Annie Mack, Felix Mack, Jr., A.J. Mack, Jimmie Mack, Bessie Mack and Coralee Washington.
He is survived by his wife, Nettie Mack. He also leaves to
cherish three children Vicki Mack-Williams, Joseph D. Mack and Gregory Mack (April), five grandchildren Christina, Isaiah, Sarah, David and Autumn, one goddaughter Derissa, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
