Robert K. McKnight

Robert, a native of Sacramento, passed away in his home in Knights Landing, California. He was an energetic man who had very good handyman skills, and loved to help his family and friends. You could count on him. His mom always said "he could fix anything". He was a daredevil and sportsman especially at rollerskating. He and his skating friends liked jumping over cars, and other daring adventures. He, also skated at roller derby events up and down the valley. He loved fishing and camping where we would go to Yosemite, Clear Lake, and many other wonderful locations. Let's not forget the Sacramento River where he caught some BIG ones!! He was a bright spot for us and his friends, a sparkplug in our lives. His absence cannot be replaced, but as family and friends, we will carry his memory, and gusto with us in peace and loving joy. Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Mona F. Smith (Walter/Smitty), Aunt Carol Ann Brown and Uncle Tony Brown. He is survived by his father, John W. McKnight (Yolanda), sisters, Toni Lynn Hazell (Kenny), Michelle McKnight; Aunts, Cheryl Brown, Wanda Brown, Anita Reeves, Uncles, Freddie Brown (Dee); nephews, Kenny (Deuce) Hazell, Ryan Hazell, Ian Hazell; nieces, Taylor McKnight, Devon Hazel (Eric), and many cousins and friends.
