Morgan Jones was started in 1948 at 12th & Q Streets in downtown Sacramento by Grace M. Jones and her brother William Morgan. He went on to become the first black Superior Court Judge in Sacramento, while Grace Jones continued to serve families at Morgan Jones Funeral Home.

In 1962, Morgan Jones relocated to its current location at 4200 Broadway. We continue to strive to serve all people in our community with respect and dignity. We remain family own and operated with daily operation now being overseen by Grace's son, Charles M. Jones. He and his able staff are there to assist you...24 hours a day.

Charles Morgan Jones, is the second generation owner of Morgan Jones Funeral Home who motto: "Loving, Caring and Sharing"  has been serving the Greater Sacramento Metropolitan area for over 63 years. The professional and caring staff will assist you with your loved one's final arrangements, assuring that every detail is provided in celebrating their life.

Shirely V. White, Licensed Manager and Funeral Director for Morgan Jones Funeral Home. Shirley has become an integral part of MJFH. Her expertise and professionlism has enhanced the company's reputation and standard of excellence. Graduated from San Francisco College of Mortuary Science.

Jautune S. Kensey, Funeral Consultant for MJFH.  Her dedication and love for people has brought comfort to families dealing with the loss of their love ones & planning their last goodbyes for over 15 years. Graduate of San Francisco College of Mortuary Science.

Ty P. Gilliam, Funeral Director and Embalmer at Morgan Jones Funeral Home. Ty, has been an asset to the company. His hard work ethics has increased productivity and efficiency streamlining the bereavement process for our families. Graduate of San Francisco College of Mortuary Science.
