She attended St. Michael Elementary School and St Joseph High School in San Francisco. One of the proudest moments in her life was receiving her High School Diploma in May of 2000. A passion for caring for the sick and a love of medicine lead her into elder care. Ramona loved caring for the elderly, sick and the disabled in their homes as a Home Health Aide. She had a lot of compassion for her patients and enjoyed working to assist them in their daily care. She loved to brighten their day with a laugh, a joke, or creating a new hair style. She let them know that she truly cared.
Music and dancing were lifelong passions. Ramona loved to dance, as a child she would make up dance routines for her sister Joan and their friend Cherie. As the “Supremes” they danced to her choreography with carrot “microphones” while she sang the lead loudly and off key. Dancing remained a joy for the rest of her life.
Ramona loved collecting family photos and sharing family history with her children.
Ramona loved being a mother, the birth of Yolanda, Denise and Dennis was a source of great joy. She was proud of each of her children. Her joy increased a hundred fold with the birth of her grandson, Christopher. They shared a very special bond, and now she is one of his Guardian Angels in heaven.
