Annie Pearl Fields was born April 10, 1927 to Willie Stanley, Sr. and Minnie Fuller in Shreveport, Louisiana. At the age of 21, Annie Pearl and her daughter Gloria moved to Sacramento, CA to start a new life. She loved working and taking care of many foster children. Annie Pearl had two children, Gloria Randolph and Velma Fields. She was a grandmother of five and a great-grandma of seven and a great-great-grandmother of 11.
Annie Pearl dedicated her life taking care of family. Annie Pearl was a mother figure to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Annie Pearl was a foster parent for 10 years. She loved being around lots of people, including family. Annie Pearl belongs Chapter 13 Eastern Stars. Some of her many hobbies was Reno, Thunder Valley, shopping at her favorite stores, KMart and Walmart. She loved going to Del Taco, Popeye’s, Golden Corral and most of all she loved her lottery tickets.
Annie Pearl was preceeded in death by her parents, Willie Stanley, Sr. and Minnie Fuller, her daughter Gloria Randolph, six brothers, AT Stanley, Huey P. Stanley, Ernest “Jim” Stanley, Chester Stanley, Claudell Fuller, and Monroe Fuller and her three sisters, Stella Stanley, Dorothy Thompson and Carrie Fuller.
Annie Pearl lives to cherish her memory, Velma Fields of Sacramento; five grandchildren, Rochelle Myles, Sheri Dunford, Elizabeth Rundolph, Rowenikka Fields and Demetri Fields, all of Sacramento, CA. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
