Mr. Stephen D. Piggee

IN LOVING MEMORY OF STEPHEN D PIGGEE FEBRUARY 25, 1968-AUGUST 8, 2025. Stephen was born in Mt Shasta, California on February 25, 1968, to Denver and Mandy Piggee. Stephen was an only child for the first 1O years of his life. He often wished for a brother and finally his wishes came true. He was blessed with a brother, Corey. Even though ten years separated them they became best friends. Stephen grew up in Davis and Sacramento, California. He attended West Davis Elementary School (now Robert E. Willett Elementary), Nicolaus Elementary, Fern Bacon Junior High and Burbank High School. He also attended Cosumnes River College and Phoenix University, Stephen spent many summers and school holidays in Weed and Mt Shasta with his paternal grandparents, Dannie and Annies Piggee and maternal grandmother, Kelly B. Smith-Thomas. He loved being in the presence of the mountain (Mt Shasta) and all the • Surrounding beauty of the area. Stephen's first job was at the Chevron Station at Florin Rd and East Parkway, He later worked at the former Home Club in the Southgate Shopping Center, Waterbed Outlet, Level One and finally DMV (California Department of Motor Vehicles). He retired from DMV in February this year. Along his life's journey, Stephen was blessed to have three children, many friends, developed a talent for cooking and was a budding photographer. He valued family and the friendships he made over the years; they were very important to him, Stephen departed this earthly life on August 8, 2025. He has awakened in a beautiful reality of endless happiness; a place of peace, unity and unconditional love. Stephen is survived by his parents, Denver and Mandy; his brother Corey; children: Stephen Kelly, Jaylen (Missie), Terisha (Ean) and life partner, Margie. He also leaves his aunts, Dorothy and Arlene, and uncle Gene (Carolyn). Stephen has many cousins and friends who will also miss him.
